Reviews of my Talks, Kevin Pratt.
I welcome reviews of my talks. After you have listened to my talk I ask you to come back to this page and post a comment on what you have noticed.
All I ask is that you post a balanced view, good and bad points. Please Keep criticism to constructive points so that I can make positive changes.
2016 Wilmslow Gild. Many thanks for your excellent talk about unusual plants. It was well presented and the slides were great.
2016 Southport AGS Joan Vincent. Thank you very much for leaving your nursery to visit us. We all enjoyed the lovely photographs of your unusual bulbs-yet the special part your invaluable advice on the best way to achieve success with these and other plants. Once again your real hands-on experience shone through and I think we all feel we cannot do better than follow your soil recipes and methods.
2015 Allestree Garden Club. Your Talk was very much enjoyed by the members. I keep getting stopped at the local shops by members wanting to tell me how they liked it. And many of them will have a permanent memory of the unusual plants. No doubt they will be proudly displayed at our next open gardens.
2015 Exeter, Devon AGS ‘Lorraine (Chris) Birchall. We thought your talk was very informative, interesting and we loved the sprinkling of humour throughout the evening.
2014 Mytholmroyd and District Gardeners’ Club. Kevin, thank you so much for last night, I really enjoyed your talk. I can’t remember an evening when every single attendee listened gripped to the speaker. We quite often get a number of members who talk all the way through the evening, but you held their attention totally. You are a very inspiring speaker and I am sure you had so much to offer as a landscape gardener. All the very best, Janet Cluett. Mytholmroyd and District Gardeners’ Club.”
2014 Castle Douglas Scottish Rock Club. Your excellent photographs and lively commentary had us all transfixed from the start. Your personal experience and tips on cultivation are just the points that make an evening highly informative besides being illustrated.
2013 vote of thanks from Yorkshire HPS. Kevin, thank you so much for your fascinating, well-organised and well-illustrated talk to the East Yorkshire Hardy Plant Society group’s September meeting; everyone I spoke to afterwards had such positive comments, and said how much they had enjoyed it, so many new plants to consider as garden possibles! Thanks again. Lenore Greensides, chair”
